Calibre Interactive is the invocation GUI for Calibre DRC, LVS and xRC tools for physical verification and parasitic extrac-tion. It’s easily accessed from the menu bar within popular layout design environments. Calibre Interactive also gives users access to Calibre RVE, the robust results viewing environment. Calibre User Manual, Release 4.5.0 calibre is an e-book library manager. It can view, convert and catalog e-books in most of the major e-book formats. It can also talk to many e-book reader devices. It can go out to the Internet and fetch metadata for your books. It can download newspapers and convert them into e-books for convenient reading.
Calibre Integration to Synopsys Tools
Synopsys® Custom Compiler® to Calibre® Interactive™ and Calibre RVE™
Synopsys Custom Compiler provides the ability to call batch Calibre through the standard interfaces. This integration is built and maintained by Synopsys, and documented in the Synopsys Custom Compiler user manual.
Synopsys IC Compiler (ICC) to Calibre Interactive and Calibre RVE
Mentor Graphics maintains the standard interfaces between Synopsys IC Compiler (ICC) andIC Compiler II (ICC2) and Calibre Interactive and Calibre RVE. Instructions for this installation are in the “Synopsys IC Compiler” section of Appendix A in the Calibre Interactive and Calibre RVE user’s manual. Once installed, the interface enables the user to run Calibre at any stage during P&R. Users can choose to stream out to GDSII or OASIS, or use the Milkyway read capability.
Calibre to Milkyway™
Calibre can read and write to Milkyway. This interface allows the user to launch Calibre jobs directly on the Milkyway database without first opening the design in ICC. This interface uses the standard ICC TCL interface to open and stream the layout data directly to Calibre without creating intermediate files on disk. This capability is available with batch Calibre and through Calibre Interactive.
Synopsys Laker™ Custom Design
Synopsys Laker Custom Design environment provides both the standard Calibre interfaces and Calibre RealTime for complete signoff support during the entire design flow.
Standard Calibre Interfaces
Synopsys builds and maintains the standard interfaces to Calibre, including invocation and both layout and schematic highlighting. The interface is on by default and is documented in the standard Laker manuals. Sx260 hs canon camera manual.

Calibre RealTime
Calibre RealTime is integrated with Synopsys Laker, providing the full power of Calibre signoff during physical implementation. The Calibre RealTime interface is built and maintained by Mentor Graphics and is documented in the Calibre RealTime manual.
Synopsys StarRC™ extraction to Calibre LVS
Calibre Interactive And Calibre Rve User's Manual
Customers who want to use Synopsys StarRC extraction with Calibre LVS can achieve this using an interface built and maintained by Synopsys, documented in the StarRC manuals.
