Good
- everything a convertible Yoga can do (depends on usage, some user better off with detachable)
- really thin
- really light
- no battery pen (default tip is stylus, you have to switch it with refill with ink to write, probably easier to buy a separate pen)
- 2048 level of pressure, 100-degree angle detection Wacom digitizer can go through < 5 mm paper
- 6 hr active battery, 16 hr connected standby
- good audio? from such thin box
- TPM 2.0?
Bad
- Atom CPU - can be even (much?) slower than a T410 (2010) ... ... too bad doesn't have a kaby lake Y (Core M 2nd gen), whatever the new intel naming number for those
- 4GB RAM ... ...
- 64GB eMMC storage, no M.2 (PCI-e NVMe) - Samsung CWBD3R barely faster than hard drive, closer to very low end of SSD? - i know, no internal room ..
- unusual trackpad configuration. left/right button on left and right, not below
- 10.1' too small for 100%, need to use 150% default
- some keys are tiny half width -=[]
- no home/end/ins/del keys - no combo Fn+I/E/H/S/P/K/B like X1 Carbon Gen 2 adaptive keyboard to generate?
- F J _ symbols for flat keyboard?
- no property key
- halo setting not intuitive in control panel? not in settings? (some got extra trackpad settings?)
- sleep and wake /hibernation problem - crash after some time, need to hold power button for several seconds to reboot, some can fix by turn off away sensing, update wifi/video drivers, turn off fast startup?
- need to hit Pen button to use pen
- no tilt sensing? 100° spec is for? working range?
- no side button/eraser in pen - tip may break off in changing refll
- no soft nib for pen?
- no storage garage or magnetic for pen - i know, no room for such a thin device
- no rapid charge? (no always on USB, I assume)
- Windows 10 Home 64, no factory Pro upgrade?
- device service, multimode drivers not in support download, need to extract from recovery partition?
- LenovoPaper UAC pops up - install failed as update? some can get it to start in service?
- no Lenovo System Update, settings apps?
- bitlocker (user installed windows 10 pro only?)/device encryption (need Microsoft Account to fully encrypted, export key?) turn on automatically, need save recovery key and suspend before BIOS update - power and volume + key to enter?
- one microUSB (USB 3.0 chipset? OTG?) , no USB-A, USB-C, Thunderbolt, miniDisplayPort, need to get USB, HDMI female adapters to use common cables/peripherals
- charger pins doesn't fold
- one microSD, need tool to pop out
- no LED or OSD for FnLk or CapsLock
- no fingerprint reader (can't you use the whole digitizer as palm scanner?)
- not 8.5x11 size, needs special paper for right size coverage - i know, compromise - if it follows Thinkpad Yoga - Yoga Book 270, Yoga Book 470 in the work?

Windows 10 will be released on July 29th. Ahead of the release of Windows 10, Lenovo has released a new help guide for new Windows 10 users. The guide is focused towards novices, and helps users with very easy tasks. Nonetheless, this guide will indeed be very helpful for new Windows 10 users who don’t have any idea about things like Microsoft Account, etc. Lenovo states:
Windows® 10 is the state-of-the-art operating system from Microsoft. Lenovo is glad to provide computer products with Windows 10 preinstalled. The operating system is a very important part of a personal computer. Your experience with your computer will be at its best if you’re comfortable with the operating system installed on it. With that in mind, we have provided this publication to get you up and running with Windows 10. Once you feel more confident with the basics, you may refer to information provided by Microsoft to explore more advanced features of Windows 10. If there are conflicts between information provided by Lenovo and Microsoft regarding Windows 10, the information provided by Microsoft prevails.
The help guide is available as a PDF, and you can view it here. If you’re a Lenovo user, what do you think of the help guide? Discuss in the comment section below!
Thanks, MicrosoftInside for the tip!
